Positive Scribes is Elle Housman, a freelance writer specializing in wellness writing and graphic design services. This wellness genre includes general health, issues in public health, positive psychology, fitness, nutrition, and the mind-body connection. Elle also writes about well child, environmental issues and social justice.

Elle holds two degrees: a B.A. Degree in Psychology from The University of Colorado at Boulder and an A.O.S. Degree in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute, New York, NY.

Elle is currently a graduate candidate at the University of Northern Colorado in the Public Health Masters Program with an emphasis in health education.

Elle holds numerous certifications: YMCA certified strength training instructor, YMCA certified group exercise instructor, certified Reiki practitioner, and a CU certified human researcher.

Elle currently holds memberships with: Boulder Media Women (BMW), Boulder Business and Professional Women (BPW), The Colorado Society of Public Health Educators (COSOPHE), The Black Biomedical Research Movement (BBRM), and The Soka Gakkai International (SGI).
